Milford Street Eats Food Truck Rally
The days of summer fun and festivals are fading fast, but a few more opportunities to revel in the sun remain.
The fifth annual Milford Street Eats Food Truck Rally comes to mind. This event runs 3 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 5, at 701 Chamber Drive, in Milford.
The food and beverage offering is extensive with nearly 30 vendors signed on including Cuban Pete, Best Thing Smokin’, Wicked Hickory, U-Lucky Dawg, C’est Cheese, Sugar Snap, Texas Joe, Empanadas Aqui, Chicken Mac, Madtree, Mt. Carmel Brewing, and Old Firehouse Brewery.
In addition to food, there’s music from 3 Day Rule and The New Royals.
Proceeds from water and soda sales benefit CASA.
Philharmonic comes to Batavia
Maestro Jaime Morales-Matos directs the Clermont Philharmonic Orchestra in a free concert on Batavia’s Courthhouse Square 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 5.
The orchestra will present popular tunes, light classics, and other selections chosen for appeal to a family audience on a summer evening. United Dairy Farmers will provide for ice cream treats after the performance. Those attending are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets.
Sponsors are the Clermont County Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Village of Batavia.
Hoots & Hops at Cincinnati Nature Center
A night of nature and adult beverages are merged for the Cincinnati Nature Center’s Hoots & Hops 7 to 11 p.m. Friday, Aug. 11, 4949 Tealtown Road.
The evening, designed for individuals 21 and over, includes exploration along the Mashburn Discovery Trail and samples of beer from regional breweries, wine sampling, and tastings from local restaurants.
